Let's get straight to the point: I need critique. Something more than "wow", "good job", "that's cool" and "I like the colors on this one". Or the other way around.

I bet half of my pageviews and all of my favourites -and won't regret giving them away if I lose- that so do most of you out there. Be it Street Photography, Poetry, Anime drawings, CSS coding or Digital Art, how it is made does not matter all that much to me. What does matter, is that we are all here because we like expressing ourselves. Yeah, you may call it 'art', I'll forgive you for just this once. What I see is a bunch of creative people who want to express their feelings and thoughts, and share that expression with me.

Now, what I intend to do about this: starting by this Monday, I will start picking deviants at -almost- random, browse their deviations from the first to the last, view each one of them -- pause for one minute, then look again. I'll then comment. This to each and every one of the deviations they have uploaded in their gallery. It does not really matter how many that is, or how long it will take before I finish the gallery; noone's in such a big hurry anyways. I will include the deviant I'm currently 'checking' and commenting, at the 'Interesting Stuff' of every journal of mine.

I do hope that by this way, I will help this place be a tiny bit better, critique-wise. I don't claim to be a serious or a good critic by doing this, nor that I understand the technicalities and different ways to 'do things' of each 'genre'/category inside deviantART, it's just a way I've found to help. If I can't write anything technique-wise, I'll just go on describing what I feel about the deviation. If I like it, I'll explain why. So will I, if I do not like it, calmly and nicely.

And that's all there is to know. I hope that this inspires other people to follow, not by doing exactly the same thing -although I wouldn't mind if they did- but by paying some more attention to the critique they are providing instead of the favourites and the 'hey wow' comments.

If one of you, dear readers, feels like he/she needs to have some of that critique, all there is to do to obtain it is ask for it. I will happily screw up my list of deviants to be critiqued to include him or her. Just give me the option of time. I don't want to go fast on this.

Fuck, this will take me a century to finish I know I'm already running too late to your expectations, but please keep in mind that I've got a 'normal' life too, with a job, interests, my photography, etc etc. I've still got the Bug going, currently critiquing ~eamfos but as I've said, it takes time. Don't worry, I WILL visit.
